I thought you had real mice problems. Well, I had a rat problem. I wondered why my battery light kept comming on and my power stalling. When I drove to Manhattan (this was when I had the 86er on the road)my light came on the West Side Highway, I tried to make it the nearsest exit. My worst fear was having my vehicle left in Midtown. Believe me it will cost ya! Anyway I pulled over popped the hood and saw my alternator belt broken. I always travel with my tools and a auto parts store was only a couple of blocks away so it was just a matter of replacing it. Now this is where it got a little scary...When I pushed my had down to pull out the mangled belt I saw this big #@$! head staring at me. I was not about to pull that bad boy outta there! A repair shop was just around the corner and I told those guys to take a look at my car, I wasn't about to tell them about the rat. Would you believe my car stayed there for 3 days because they were drawing straws on who would take the rat out the engine. When I picked up the car they told me that the rat got caught in the belts and burned out the alternator. That damn rat cost me $200.00. Needless to say that rat was so big they had to use a shovel to move it.
