I was just checking into an alarm system for the 88 SPG I am suppose to get this weekend. Anyways, Clifford has an alarm out (7000IQ I think) that enables someone to start a manuak trans car with the alarm remote. It supposidly will only start the car if the parking brake is on, car in neutral as well as you turned the car off with the remote (kind of like a turbo timer).
Anyways, I am not exactly sure how it works but the price isn't cheap. The alarm I have on my 87 SPG is a Clifford 700IQ (a few years old) & allows me to control my sunroof as well as windows & door locks individually. I payed $700 sih for that & the 7000 IQ has a price of $1000-1200 according to the shop I went to. However, they were going to do the work for me for $900-1000 which is still a lot more then I can afford now :o(
