To check what Richard said, I turned the signal on and then pulled it to flash the lights. The lights did intensify to high beams. When the signal alone is put on, like mentioned before, the headlights seem to get a small electric current since they (and the fogs if they are on) only light up a little. About one half of regular beams.
Could there be a cross in the positive leads somewhere? Or is the stalk to blame.
