hi. i own a 5spd 91 900s. i noticed this recently only. i donot know if the weather makes a difference but if so then i live in upstate NY. during cold starts the steering feels just a little tight and i think after the car has travlled it feels oki though at times it doesnt. the power steering level is in between levels marked hot and cold. right tie rod changed a month ago with alignment. new tires for 2months now. a day ago my tire pressure on blizzaks were 30 and 36psi instead of 35max psi. i have set presure now to 33psi.

most belts changed 2 months ago.

does anyone have any clues as to why this is happening? mechnaic says it may be the steering stuff where the valves open up on heating and that costs $450.00. is there any way to test it that this is not my imaginaton
