yes, i have a Bentley and I have been trying to figure things out on my own as I go through all the steps in geting the SAAB back on the road. It' sbeen great for over a week. All leaks in check!
Right now it won't start. It cranks but just doesn't turn over. It is somewhere else and when I get there to trouble shoot I won't have the computer nearby. So I'd like to go over there soemwhat prepared. I can look to see if any vacuum hoses have popped loose. I will check to see if fuel pump is coming on and if there is spark at distrubutor and to the plugs.I can pull the vacuum hose at back of intake maniforld and use starter fluid. questions. What am I overlooking and is there a more logical order to do all these things?
1.. Look at vacuum hoses.
2.Check fuel pump comes on .
3?
Or does it matter?
Also, it is bitter cold and icy here. i understand the function of the cold start injector (but not the exact mechanics of it)...could it be that it is failing? If so is it possible that the car when will start when the ambient temperature rises? Do cold start injectors ever need replacing?
Thanks for all your help!
