system or don't have any need to do the conversion, don't. the 134 is not as efficient as the 12. although the 134 is more enviro-friendly. had to do the 12 to 134 conversion on a military ship reefer. after 134 was put in, reefer boxes ran about 10 degrees warmer. had to make adjustments to cooling water pumps, etc to compensate for loss in efficiency. still didn't get temps all the way back to normal. but, the trees are greener now... even though all that r12 that was safely closed in the reefer system is now no longer in a stored container... just my 2 cents.
