George provided good info...here is some more on the heater control light.

To fix the light, try the radio removal approach first. Pull the radio out of the DIN box with the u-shaped hooks. Then remove the DIN box by prying the front edges with a small screwdriver to free the retaining lips. Pull the box out and unplug the connectors so you can get the box entirely out of the way.

The light for the fan switch and the temperature control is just below the opening and is easy to change. The light for the air direction selector and the lighter is harder to reach, but not impossible. It is just above the lighter and you can't see it through the radio opening. Reach down through the opening, work your fingers through the misc. wires and feel for the back of the lighter. Directly above it is the direction selector bulb holder that plugs into the panel. Wiggle it out, replace the bulb, and plug the holder back in. Take your time.

If you give up, then as George said, you have to remove the dash panel. You have to unscrew the airbag (torx screws from the back), unplug airbag and horn button connector, and unbolt the steering wheel. Make sure the ignition is off, or better yet, the battery is disconnected when you unplug the airbag. Then remove the four long torx screws holding the panel in from the bottom. Then pull out and unplug all the dash buttons and the light switch. Reach through the radio hole and remove the retaining clamp for the air distribution plug and the wires. Remove the wires from the fan switch. Slide off the temperature control rod from the control. Then gently pull back the panel, until you can unplug the rheostat wires and any others that are still connected. Be careful that you don't break the tabs that hold the tubes where the long screws went. At last you can remove the panel to get at the stupid light bulb.
