Hey folks, my old 86 900T has a red velour interior, while my 86 SPG has the normal grey leather. The leather isnt in the greatest of shape and i've always missed the comfort of my old interior and I kind of like the "warmer" color. I giving the car to my brother (the old 86 900T) soon and I was wondering if i should take the interiour for myself and give him the leather.
The seats in comparison to the grey leather ones are wonderful. I am wondering about the availability of finding more used velour interiour components if they ever wear out. I assume they're easier and cheaper to find than leather. I dont really care about leather v. fabric. No, i cant afford new leather right now and probably wont for years to come :)
I am considering just switching the seats and leaving the door panels, rear panels OR switching the door panels/rear panels along with the seats. I just dont feel like pulling out the lower dash to match it though. I think that the red seats would look ok with the grey surroundings/carpet. Any opinions, comments? Later folks..
