You now have a small fuel leak at/by the filter. This would allow fuel system to depressurize as it sits, resulting in longer start times. I suppose you could get under there and look, or do a pressure bleed-down check (with gauge, etc..). Does it restart immediatley after you turn it off? (you know, ok if 5 minutes, not OK if an hour or two?)..
Just a thought.
