"Flushing" cooling system?

Tomorrow I'm going to drain my cooling system and refill it with 50/50 antifreeze/distilled water. However, I'm changing from the "green stuff" antifreeze that's currently in there to the Mercedes-Benz antifreeze/anticorrosive (pink stuff) I bought ($15 a gallon from the MB, or should I say DaimlerChrysler dealer... OUCH!). Is there a way for someone to flush out whatever remnants of the green stuff that may be in my cooling system after I drain it? I'm going to drain it using the Bentley manual as a guide, but it says nothing about "flushing". Help! Keep in mind as well that I don't have a shop or any special tools at my disposal, so any flushing technique would have to be straight-forward without needing any elaborate tools. I have a 15 quart drain pan I'm using to drain the existing fluid into, then I'm transferring it to an old 5 gallon water cooler bottle to take it to the antifreeze disposal center. Therefore I can't use any plan that has me just putting a hose at one end and letting it flush water out the other. Thanks in advance! Oh, if anyone cares, it's an '85 900T 16v 3dr.
