Sorry about your vandalism - how some people feel better damaging other's hard-earned stuff I'll never know.
Twice in college; to both my '85 900S and parent's '90 900S.
'85: Car in distant student parking lot. I back out of a spot, now sitting in the driving lane shifting into first to get going forward. Truck next to me just backs up - can't see a brilliant red SAAB filling the mirror?! Backs right into my driver's front wheel well, crushing a nice wedge into it. His truck bumper had but the plastic coating scuffed. I let it slide. A few days later (by coincidence I think - the truck kid was pretty embarrassed, I don't think he did the following) someone *beat* the crap out of my car. The driver's rear quarter panel was caved in, as if a grizzly bear had rammed it at full speed. The headlights and front turn signal assemblies were kicked in. Beer cans left lying on the spoiler. I darn near cried, man!
'90: Some punk broke the driver's side window w/ a landscaping stone and started crawling inside before a neighbor scared him off. It was around midnight, and I'd just returned to school after Christmas with the car packed w/ ski gear and gifts for people (had just emptied the car out a mere 15 minutes before this happened). So car was empty - close call - I presume he wanted the radio? Dunno.
