The contact cleaner didn't work for me, even in speeding up my slow window in the back, but then again I didn't have a good tool for removing the grime after I sprayed the contacts with cleaner.

It turned out that the problem was at the door hinge. Using the voltmeter on the engine side of the firewall showed me that my switch worked. But I was not getting power to the contacts on the motor (very accessible). So I ran new wire from the hinge contacts to the motor, and it worked. Then I tracked down the break in the circuit by removing the rubber boot that holds the door wires to the inside of the car, and saw that the hot wire was completely severed. Grabbed a butt connector and I was done.

My rear driver's side window is spontaneously working again, so now all windows works. Thanks for the help.
