RS is right on. I took my doors apart and fixed it for good, I hope. Look at the POR15 - it is amazing. They manuf. paint, paste, glass cloth, etc, everything you need to repair the rust and prevent recurrance (coat the lower interior of the door & make sure the drains are open; they're stamped into the door's sheetmetal). As long as you do a decent job (it doesn't have to be show-room perfect, no one looks down there), it'll look good. Paint it w/ a close match spray paint, or go to a auto paint shop and have them mix and fill an aerosol can for you.

There are two weatherstrips at the bottom. The top, thin tube-shaped one seals against the door sill. It is attached with T-shaped snap-in plastic pins. The top of the "T" inserts in the rubber, the post of the "T" sticks in the door. You can either stretch the rubber to either side to "unhook" it, or gently pry the "T" out of the door. If you break some, just snip a little hole in the seal and fasten it w/ a standard aluminum rivet.

The bottom, flat rubber seal (the one w/ the fancy black-headed rivets) seals against the car frame. Drill out the rivets - you should be able to reuse the seal. The rivets cost me $1.80 ea at the dealer (6 per door?).

When fixing the rust (Dremel tool, POR15) make sure you get it all and be done w/ it for good. Be sure to check the underside of the door's bottom edge, as well. Because POR15 takes a little time to use properly (cleaning, etching, painting), you might nip any other rust blemishes you find on the car that same day. Good luck!
