4v pre-outs seems low? Check out the new Eclipse deck with 12-18 volt preouts, balanced line outs, internal x-over & hand built copper chassis. I have one on order from the local shop :o)

My Adcom amps require high volt outputs from the deck & it seems like everyone had up to 5 v outputs but Eclipse is definantly ahead of everyone on this. If the deck doesn't have high enough outputs or balanced outputs, Adcom had a balanced line converter which I can fortunantly sell with the ned eclipse deck. I tried a Alpine deck (cda-7850) with their 4v output & it was, well, bad :o( To much noise & not the clarity I want in a deck, so Elcipse is what I will try this time around :o)

I was interested in alpine's new F#1 status stuff but their deck was/is $3,000 & the amps are suppose to be comparable priced & they still probably can't match my adcom for clarity (not power) or even the wonderfull Macentosh stuff.
