Funny you should mention that... I sold my green '88 900T to my best friend's sister over the summer. She called the other night saying it totally lost all power and "feared the clutch or the head gasket had died." Knowing that I did both those repairs less than a year prior to selling it to her, I had her drop it by my house for inspection. The problem was the vacuum line to the distributor had failed, but I also gave it a once over. There was 1.5qts of oil extra in the pan... called her, asked who did it, "Jiffy Lube." Nice. Drained it off, sent it back to her, told her to never take it there again. Or to the place that installed her new battery, because they left the freakin' heat shield out... besides melting the battery, it wasn't tied down at all.
Amateurs!
