Of course, it's been literally 20 years since I stripped and repainted the yellowed wheels on my 77 Datsun 280Z.
I then polished the wheels using jeweler's rouge and then used Imron clear (catalyzed, toxic stuff, don't shoot it indoors w/o a fresh air respirator (or scuba gear) and then cooked it in the kitchen oven at warm for two hours. Stuff came out hard as glass and tough as vinyl.
I would expect you can get it in any color you want.
The Imron coated wheels didnt' yellow for several years when I sold the car, much less nick from stones or discolor from salt.
There are catalyzed urethanes you may be able to get today other than Imron.
