why would you want to run max caster? Caster increases steering feel. Is it numb? Less caster will enhance turn in and will allow it to be a bit more maneuverable in quick transitions. (I am curious to your experiences as all cars are different) Also, Thor has some alignemnt information on his 'Portal' as well. I never read through all of it, though (below). As for toe, a bit more 'out' from stock (0"-1/32"/side) during a solo event may help front grip but will not help tracking. I strongly suggest a 'smartcamber' gage, 4' level, box of tiles for shims, 4 jackstands, fishingline and a dial caliper to prep for a solo event. (self alignment of toe and verification of camber) post if you want an explanation.
Just an issue I had... make DAMN sure that the guy aligning it has done one before. I even had a Saab tech tell me that all they do is adjust the LHS side because the RHS is so tight (under the intake). In Columbus, I only got satisfaction from a dealer. The tech did not make much money on mine because he said it took 2.5hr and he only got paid for 1!
One of the indie shops in town uses a local 'Discount Tire' shop for all of the alignments (fwih). Apparently the tech there has a C900 and knows how to do it. Whatever you do, please let us know how it turns out. Apparently the a-arm shims are different than the GM and Ford shims that the tire shops generally have lying around.
