I read with interest Monster's writeup on this subject and was a bit nervous about tackling this job - simple but frustrating.
In the end, I undid the APC module (2 torx screws on fender edge and tied it off out of the way), then I removed the parking light (1 torx from top beside head light & 2 nuts reached via where the APC box was). Twisted the three tubes off the canister and then holding my mouth in the appropriate grimace I levered the canister past the oil cooler hose (?) and reversed the procedure to install. Tough part, the very sharp edges of much of the body stampings my lower arm pressed against and then sliding the new canister into the 'V' shaped mount. Total time 1 hour 45 minutes - next time (next time -we'll talk) about 1 hour!
