Ok, so I got this Speedo that goes up to 125 from the junk yard. I thought it was a good deal costing me only $11. Now I took it apart changed the milage so it will match that of my car and put it back toghether.

Everything seems fine except that I took off the needle and now I'm not sure how to put it back correctly so it will show the right speed.

I tried setting the needle at zero when the spring had no resistance, but when I spun the speedometer thing on the back the speed went up and did not come back down.
So how am I supposed to setup the needle?

Oh and is the compatibility alright? I got it of a manual that is the same year. I am working on a conversion but right now I am a auto. My old speedometer went up to 85.
