nice. :) i rowed for a small college in new england... uscga. had a good novice year, 3rd at nationals. the next three years took 3rd at new englands, nationals and dad vails. liked the sprints much better than the head races, they just seemed to go on, and on, and on, and on... won a few shirts. but head of the charles is a nice race. used to spend spring breaks rowing. all my friends would come back with beer bellies, we would come back chisled stiff after rowing 3 times each day. wouldn't trade it for the world. hardest i've worked in my life, with the best pay off. if you are good, you should aim for the junior national camp, then the national, olympic team is picked from them. had one coach who was an alternate for the national team and one coach who competed a few times there. i was never able to get my 2000m times down low enough. but, i really didn't like the erg all that much, go figure...
