Being a turbo virgin, some observations. During the test drive, I wound up a few gears to nearly 5K, and the boost needle went roughly straight up on the dial, I think into the yellow zone? I believe the RH limit of boost is into the red area, and this thing would not go there.

The current owner is a non-Saaber. I have driven previously BUICK V6 turbos which would put your behind thru the seat, and this car feels nothing like that.

I also printed the FAQ off re. base boost, which looks like a great sequence of testing to determine system health. I just am not sure what to expect? However I see many folks posting about getting "into the red", which this 87 doesnt want to do (yet).
