A few possibilities if it just happens when it rains:
Rain is getting in past the inner door seal. Pull the inner trim on the door. There is a plastic shield on the inside of the door that is supposed to keep water that drips in past the window lip seal from getting to the interior of the door. That may be deteriorated or may be gone. Replace it or reseal it. (I've observed this on my '89 SPG.)
The hole for the lower dash that goes through the firewall, right in front of the door may have become unsealed. Silicone Seal works decently on this.
The seal around the air intake box, where it goes through the firewall, sometimes shrinks. Seal the heck out of it.
Sometimes the rubber door gasket gets creased and water enters the interior through the crease. The best thing is to replace it. Very expensive, though.
Is the door gasket properly seated in the upper channel? Water can ride down the channel into the interior if the gasket isn't seated in it. (Observation, again.)
Then there are the A/C drain and the windshield gasket that TS mentioned.
