i've replaced most everything and the last time I had the rear wheels off (to service an e-brake problem) I whapped the calipers w/ a wrench. They appear to be just a bit loose, even when bolted properly. It was enough to make the clunking/rattle I hear each time I drive down my brick alley (and other bumps). I think it goes away when I brake, but its hard to tell due to slowing and I have to time it out w/ a reflective surface like a garage door.
My other idea is the little bracket that holds the e-brake cable to the lower control arm (?). This appears to be rather loose and allows the cable to flop around alot.

In my opinion, the muffler (bent pipe) jack, etc are all pretty obvious and easy to locate - been there.
