OK guys, here's the deal, I've got my reblt halfshaft (and ball joints!) for my 86 900T ready: Big question, which may actually be small - on the inner side boot w/ tripod bearing, how can I cinch tite the special clamp over the boot w/o the special tool? I'm almost considering just buying another clamp unlike that from the kit to make it easier.
Is there a simple screwdriver/channel-lock technique which can give enuff oomph to lock the clamp snug on the boot w/ the factory syle clamp? Thanx!
