...on that extension... are we talking 6" or a foot or 2 feet...
Townsend said to use the extension and a 6mm allen socket bit too. Couple folks have said to use an angled box end wrench for the 12mm and 17mm bolts. Did you? Hope Sears has 'em, but if not I'd like to know if it's possible without.
On the rack... my leak seems to have slowed...knock on wood. I don't worry about it too much, except I check level maybe once a week and add a bit of fluid every 2 weeks maybe. Just like JD from LA said once I switched to the Valvo synthetic. Sounds like you're kinda in the same boat. My plan is to live with it until it becomes a royal pain with the adding fluid.. then I'll consider replacing it. I figure I'm better off accepting a bit of a problem that's livable rather than sinking my bank into it only to have a bigger problem the next day that I can't afford.
