Don't forget a fuse or circuit breaker!
It MUST be located before the wire goes through the hole (for that inevitable day when your grommet -- you will line the hole with a grommet, right?? -- wears out and your wire gets chafed on the edge of the hole).
It should really be right at the battery connection.
Even better: one honkin' breaker right on the battery, and a smaller fuse in each line off of the distribution block in the trunk. Some places even sell fuse blocks. What a nice, clean idea -- a second fuse block in the trunk for your excess-ories!
