okay tapping off some other source is like robingit power, and if under supplied the device could malfunction,
run the power from the batter, take it down the passenger side, above the right wheel , run it along that area (get the little plastic tubing to cover the wire) then remove just inside the door the paneling which hold the carpet down, remove both, the horizontal one (4 screws) (vertical one, 3 screws)when the carpet is oulled out a bit you will see a box now right next to it drill out a small whole bigger than the gauge wire you are running, then either tape where the wire comes through there or get a gromet, (i heavily taped with electrical tape) and then take it beneath the carepet all the way ubder the seat and there already holes in the carpet where it can pop up there, now this is very possible considering i ran 4 gauge power cable through that path, and on to under the back seat where it reaches a distribution block and comes back under the seat to power my amp 25x4 alpine. but thats about it
