One of the things to remember is that no matter how much intake pressure boost the engine is getting from the turbo, the engine RPMs still have to be in the right range for you to get to the Torque and Hp peak for good acceleration.
Some of that apparent boost rise you see when you stomp on it occurs because you're instantaneously losing the pressure drop caused by the throttle plate. (Boost is measured after the throttle.) It still takes time to bring the turbo up to speed and shove more air into the engine intake.
The C900 Hp and torque peak is over 3k RPM so, if you're under that when you floor it, you don't get a whole heap of acceleration. That's part of the art of driving a 900T - anticipation and gearing.
