Pull the seal retainer on both cars. Use a glass knife (manual/air/electric) on the good windshield car and destroy the seal and save the glass. On the car with broken glass...wear eye protection and sit between the seats. Put both feet on the glass and push it out. The glass will definately crack so make sure and clean up afterward very well. Any left over glass will crack the new windshield after install. Go to a local glass shop and purchase installation sticks from them. (Plastic popsicle sticks) Use these sticks to pull the seal back as you install the new glass. If there are any gaps in the seal to frame or any potential leak spots fill them with with black windshield urethane (urethane works best if kept in a warm environment).
If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. I have several years experience in glass shop work.
