Hey there. I have an 86 Saab 900 S and I mounted a pair of Hella 500 lights on top of my bumper. and yes I was going for the rally look and they look sick. I centered them about 2 inces apart from one another. They are 6 inches in diamenter and when I drive with them on I get flashed all the time, but what the heck. Tehy are the Hella 500's. And I got the yellow lens- so they look sick. I have some pics if you want to see. But as far as an alternator problem- dont worry. I have had them on for 7 years... and also hooked up to my battery are 2 Alpine amps. So don't sweat it. Email if you want those pics. Good luck Cya rvanderpool@smcvt.edu ~Rob
