My friends drive a LEXUS IS 300, AUDI s4, VW's ( all relatively new vehicles I might add).
When I purchased my used 92 900 S back in nov 2000, I new it wasn't no AUDI S4 or VW GTi VR6 ...they stated: "Man...what were you thinkin'??"
My only regret about the 900 purchase was that it didn't have the TURBO!!!
I always liked the design of the 900. Plus I needed a car with a large trunk to haul stuff from the HOME DEPOT and what not.
I have fit furniture, couches ect in my hatchback...and people are just like...how did your car swallow that up??? Plus the saab 900 is better in the snow than most 4 wheel drive vehicles out there!! This past winter I was doing laps around the SUVs!!!
People might say it's an old design because if you think of it... the body lasted from '79 to '94 I beleive.
That's a long stretch on the same shell!!
Most companies change the shell design every 4 years!!
Just my .02.
ANGELO
