as bry says, your problem was not electrical (it is now, though in addition to mechanical) Most probably, you have a bad checkvalve on the vacuum reservoir in the RHS fender. It should not allow it to pressurise and his under boost. (if it hisses under dropped throttle, it is a simple disconnected hose, but this is not as probable). It could also be the hose to the pressure transducer and/ or boost gage. If it is the reservoir, one fix is to replace the reservoir, the other fix is to add a checkvalve to the line to the reservoir. As for the fuse blowing, you have to have disturbed something during your replacement adventure. Disconnect the high fan leads from the switch and clean. Make sure that tehit is crimped tightly. Make sure that it is not just the fan motor is drawing too much current (bad bearings). If so, it may be the fan motor which needs replaced.

- hissing in dash sounds like a vacuum leak. Check the hoses (n/m), Bry M., Mon, 16 Jul 2001 11:17:31
