DON'T use the silicone!!!!! Use Locktite 518 as a sealer. It's expensive but worth it.
The silicone tends to flake off in time and, when it's carried in oil circulating through the engine, it can plug small oil passageways. Not a good situation.
Any other gasket or O-ring replacements can be done without having the valve cover open.
When I did the gasket on my '89, I found that I needed a bit of gasket shellac to keep the rubber gaskets from falling off when the cover was turned over. The tabs in the gasket grooves didn't hold the gaskets tightly enough to keep it from falling out.
Other than that, you have everything you need.
