Todd:
Later this morning I'm getting together with a buddy of mine and trading car services. I'm fixing the carb on his truck and he's helping with the bleeding on my new master cylinder. We'll look at the wiring dilemma you're having then.
I've already washed the bottom of the power unit so I know where all the leaks are coming from. Most disturbing is the freeze plug. There's not enough pry room to get the old plug out and not enough swing room to get the new one in. The other problems are solvable with time-proven methods.
Regarding Honda MTF: That's the motor oil replacement, right? MTL is the gear lube replacement or is it the other way around? Right now I'm sticking with dino oil. The shifting improved just by having all three quarts in there. Luckily I caught the problem when I did because I was only missing about a quart of oil.
If you go from dino oil to synth, there is no need to flush as I understand it. Flushing is for when you move from gear lube back to synth or dino motor oil or between synths.
Thanks for the heads-up on the other problems.
JD
