See thats where I am confused... I know the fans SHOULD work when I just cross the wires, or the screw driver method... But here is what I am saying. First of all, the screw driver method doesn't work. I have them both connected to the switch, good clean connections, and nothing happens. I cross the wires, nothing happens, I did the fuse idea.. nothing happens. But... when the car is warmed up to around 3/4 or a little less, I can cross the wires, and the fan comes on! I can do the fuse, the fan comes on, but if I try and short it while they are connected to the switch.. nothing, maybe not getting a clean connection, but never the less I'm repalcing the switch. So I want to know why the fans won't come on when i cross the wires and the engine is cold? I turn the car on, run it awile, temp guage goes up, then I cross the wires, and boom the fan comes on!- but not thru the switch~
