sharp boost taper under heavy acceleration

i have an 87 900T, 273,000 miles and still truckin. this past saturday, my girl left me for the first time. so sad to see her going home on the hook. i replaced the battery and coil with an accel (supposedly) higher performance model. still no start., well with the help from previous postings on this God sent site i was able to diagnose my problem as a faulty ignition control module. i replaced it and voila!..she started right up. here are where my (new) troubles begin. i was getting regular and steady mid red boost. absolutely lovely. last night we go for a ride and i got a sharp drop in acceleration (NOT fuel cutout..i know what that feels like unfortunately). this was a boost thing..almost like the car was missing out. it ONLY does this at high revs under boost conditions...if i let it rev to 4000+ easy..with no boost, it runs smooth as silk...if i give it gas, but not full throttle, like right to the edge of the yellow red zone no problem. this ONLY seems to happen when i am givin it the love.. it is VERY hard core in second gear, and nonexistant in fifth. i still get mid red stable boost up into 3500+ rpm in fifth today. but NOT 2nd 3rd or 4th. i really hope someone can help me with this..i cannot afford to go to the mechanic!! ps..if you're having some a/c compressor noise, look at my posting on how i replaced the bearing on my compressor pulley!!
