$320 is robbery in my book. getting into the window mechanism is a couple hour job...

First be sure the motor is bad to begin with. Oftentimes it's just the switch between the seats that needs cleaning. Buy a can of Radio Shack Contact Cleaner/Lubricant, and search this board for plenty of detailed instructions on cleaning - essentially, all you do is pull the switch apart, spray, wait a few minutes, re-assemble. Note carefully how the contacts are oriented before you pull them apart.

If that doesn't work, the motor may need cleaning/lubricant. Again, search here for more info.

If you're positive the motor is shot, then no big deal. It is not difficult to replace it yourself with simple handtools and a bit of time. I've never done a four-door, but have mucked around in plenty of 2-doors. I know the trim is a bit different, but certainly someone can chime in here with detailed instructions.

Buy a new motor from a Saabnet sponsor - avoid the dealer...
