I pulled completely seized motors out of the doors of my old '83T hatchback, and revived them by hosing down the drive gear with WD-40, and working the gear back and forth with a pair of vice-grips while flicking the window switch up and down. This was in the days before I found saabnet or had even bought a service manual.
It was a real PIA to get all of the bolts undone, but really only took about 20 minutes to dismantle the door and remove the window motor. After reviving the motor, I cleaned off the solvent and sprayed white lithium grease into the drive. Replacement involved wrestling with the window and contorting elbows and wrists into unnatural positions.
As others have said, make sure that the window motor is the problem before you pull it out. Check the electrical connections and the switch first.
