I'm not sure I get exactly what your doing, but I would think that you would want to run a minimum number of wires from the battery to the front of the car. Why not try a set up like this. Run your main power wire from the battery to the engine compartment, and create a false battery terminal to connect it to. Then you can connect alternator wire to that false terminal. Another example in case I'm not expressing exactly what I mean. If you run your main power line( from the battery) to a simple power block, you can connect the rest of your positive connections to that block as if your battery was still in the engine bay. You can get rid of the extra line running for your amps and connect them directly to the battery, with a fuse of course. What do you think Kooch? This may get rid of your alternator whine, and simplify your electrical connections.
