so if you plan to keep your car for a number of years, you won't have to buy any more air filters.
I've got an open-element K&N filter replacing the stock airbox, and haven't had any problems at all with moisture. The only times that heat is a problem is on very hot days when the temp. and humidity are high. I don't go full throttle in 1st gear, so I haven't noticed anything dramatically different in stop-and-go traffic.
Combined with a MSS straight-thru exhaust and modified APC box, the turbo seems to spool up faster and maintain much higher boost than the stock setup.
