my experience has been that mid yello is slightly above base boost, which for an SPG is around 6psi. i have an 87 900T which is getting halfway into the red. when i first got it i was getting mid yellow. i'm not an expert, but i think that's about where it should be, but that was not enough for me. i hope i don't kill her, but i have messed with the f and p pots on the apc computer and shortened my wastegate rod, as well as getting an apc solenoid that has been altered to hold boost a little longer than normal. the long and short of it is that if you want to take the risk of popping a pinion gear or speeding tickets, it is well worth it. i can now hang with any stock mustang 5.0 and most of these modified hondas. something happens when the higher boost levels are achieved...maniacal grin, torque steer, adrenaline rush and envious stares. and with your spg suspension (which mine also has), every corner calls your name. enough romanticizing, when it's good with a tweaked turbo 900, it's great, but when it's bad, it's worse. good luck and have fun!!!
