My wife has been driving her SPG a while now and notices it drives smoother when the tank if half full or greater. It's a bit jerky when below the halfway point. Any clues?
Also, the stick is more rubbery/notchy from time to time. It's not so tied to the fuel tank level. The gearbox is leaking a tiny bit as evidenced from the little dots on my driveway. My local indy said to keep an eye on the fluid level and not sweat it. Well, since the thing is notchy I'm thinking of changing the fluid. The car is at 101k miles, original tranny, leaking a tiny bit. The car is in Cleveland. It sees some extreme temps -20F in the winter and +100F in the summer... Any recommended tranny fluids for me? I don't want to start a Saab Gearbox holy war, just looking for advice!
BTW, the new Boge Turbo shocks you guys mentioned are breaking in nicely!!! The car handles like a dream AND soaks up bumps! Good call!
The new all Blaupunkt audio system is kicking @$$, too.
