If it's rattling for just a few seconds, it's not the chain - it's a lifter that's taking it's time to pump up. Chain tension doesn't change with oil pressure.
Some folks will run some super-light (like marvel mystery oil) through the engine for a few minutes. I've never tried it. You don't mention what year your car is - there was a change in the oil feeder tubes in the 16 valve heads at some point that improved oil flow to the lifters. You might just have an oil feeder tube that's dirty or a little out of whack.
Frankly, if it last just 3 seconds, and you're already running synthetic, I would just live with it.
