Not too hard a fix. You have to remove the calipers from the car and remove the yoke from the cylinder housing of the caliper. Don't use vise grips to pinch off the brake hose as you may do internal damage to the hose. Girling use to make a special tool to pinch off the hoses. I don't know if they are still available on the market but there has to be something out there that is compatible. There is too much play between the yoke and housing. You can make up that distance by bending the tip of the yoke spring slightly. I've used a vise and vise grips to do this. In some places they sell rebuild kits for those calipers. If you can find one I recommend you tear the whole caliper down and rebuild it. It's cheaper than buying a new one and in some parts stores when you buy a new caliper you only get the cylinder housing part of it and not a complete assembly. This means you still might have a clunk in reverse if you buy new calipers. If you have any more questions you can call 440-282-1747. I'm available foor most 99 and 900 advice.
