I remember I had to wait six weeks before I got a manual and found out how to change the pads. By that time I also found out how to change rotors. Well, congratulations. I lost my '86T today, I was stripping it already, but now I cut the main wiring and that's definite. Even though I picked it up for $$300, it hurts a bit. It had everything I wanted in a car. Also it had lots of rust and about every minor problem you could think of. And then some major, like the infamous auto trans. I'm waiting for some luck like yours, even though 900's are much cheaper here in Europe. I saw a '91 16V T just the other day for $$3000. Someone offered me a black '86 (carburetor) 5-door, 5speed, sunroof, beige cloth for $$150 (one hundred and fifty) two weeks ago. But it was too far away, had to be hauled, you know, these things. Also, I'm in the process of rebuilding my '84 90 with the pieces of the '86T, so...too much on my hands. Still, times are great for Saabers with their hands in the right place!! Carpe Diem, as they say.
