I just restored my bumpers...I actually replaced my rear bumper with another that I found at a local junk yard. Real easy to do and they look brand new. Mind you, my front bumper had some major paint on it. I used 600 grain sand paper and sanded both bumper down to a smooth surface. Then I used 1000 grain paper and wet sanded the bumper. I purchased two cans of black metallic trim paint and SHAZAM...just like new. Really amazing difference. Only problem was that the spray cans kept clogging up.
Good luck
