I've found a silver 1988 SPG for sale here in western Canada. It has all of the SPG stuff....i.e. no Turbo or Saab markings other than small round badge on the rear and on the hood, SPG wheels and skirts, grey leather interior, power sunroof. It doesn't seem to be riding very low though. I've seen one other Candian SPG in silver which was advertised for sale on TSN a year or so ago, and I've read that there may have been a few silvers sold up here. But.....I'd like to be absolutely sure that this car is the real thing and not just a dressed up 900T. Is there a special code stamped somewhere on the car that will identify it as an SPG? As I recall, the VIN code does not have any special identifier. Any comments much appreciated. I've been searching for a LONG time for a nice SPG!
