bill was $2800. Manager was on vacation,and manager on duty(MOD), verbally said no more than $2500. i signed the work order,and after I left he mustv'e got writers cramp fillin in all the bullshit. Month later when I looked over the work order with the real manager, it was now $2200. + hard parts and tax on such. Final bill was $2800. BUT, the connections on the engine are not right...so mechanic now not only has to do the full maintenance as was scheduled...but needs to double check all connections. How in the hell I got the car home, I don't know. I'm still tryin to find a green wire which is supposed to be connected to the alternator. there is a green wire coming out of the firewall, but this is connected to a male spade protruding from a fuse. The fuse box cover is not "cutout" for a wire to go under the cover. I'll leave everything they way it is...get input from mechanic...and raise hell later with Aamco. If anyone knows about the green wire to the alternator, please advise.
