Well.. Picked up a nice, clean distrib from a dismantling place(Also got a clean set of the rear window 'louvers(sp)'), both parts for $90.. I think I made out.. heh but as it also turns out..the wires on the cable to the hall sensor have also given up on their lives.. so wiggling wires everytime i wanna start my car blows.. thats tommarows fix after work...(if i can get it started :P). Thru a lil investigating i have found out that these hall sensor wires are encased in copper wire brade, then a rubber/plastic sheathing.. which also blows.. i got my work cut out for me.. but my question to this horribly long post is.. according to the hanes manual i pickedup(Bently is still on order). It says. 16BTDC at 875rpm w/ vac line disconnected but NOT plugged.. while other sources have said 20BTDC @ 2000rpm w/ vac line disconnected and plugged? please clairify this.. i am get to 17BTDC at idle..and its doing alright..
