I just bought a solid 86T, so I thought. For three weeks driving the car it felt solid, but digging deeper I found a major problem. The front right side lower A-arm mount(frame) has some serious holes. Not an easy fix, but I got a mig welder and am determined to make this work out or I just wasted $800.
Check for any signs of rust around the lower A-arm. Under the hood and under the car. Take care of it ASAP or risk the chance of failure at high speeds. The front lowers are affected more because the rears are lubed by power steering leaks.
If you want photos e-mail me. jpeg images.
